Dogpatch, ca. 1975. Lil' Abner and Daisy Mae greet a happy family at the Dogpatch USA theme park near Harrison, Arkansas. Based on Al Capp's "Lil' Abner" comic strip, the park operated from 1968 to 1993. Rides, arts and crafts demonstrations, costumed characters, and musical entertainment all played upon the hillbilly stereotype.
