The funeral home was located on Emma Avenue in the former residence of
Dr. J. E. Martin. Funeral director Glenn Riggs, his wife Rachel, and their daughter Millie Lou lived in an apartment upstairs. The Riggs family moved to Fayetteville in 1940, where Glenn Riggs went to work for Moore's Funeral Home. Riggs served as Washington County coroner from 1927 until his death in 1941.
The little church seen in the photo was a Christmas decoration which played recorded holiday carols.
