A purr-fect costume. Sondra Bowlin of Springdale models the latest in Halloween fashion, ca.1953. Her mother made the yellow cat outfit for a school play at Washington Elementary School. A Johnson and Steele Hatchery truck is in the background; Sondra's dad worked for the company. Joe M. Steele and L. E. Johnson were the owners of the hatchery, which sold poultry feed, supplies, equipment, and medicines, along with baby chicks.
