Bella Vista developer Clarence A. Linebarger opened Wonderland Cave nightclub in 1930, touting it as the "largest underground nightclub in the world." Wonderland Cave was a popular venue for big band music in the 1930s and 1940s. Since then, it has had several owners and been closed much of the time.
