Springdale Savings and Loan Association dedication, June 11, 1960. Jerry Hinshaw (at the microphone) was emcee for the festivities. Hinshaw was a member of the Association’s founding board of directors, along with Stanley Applegate, Willis Shaw, H. E. Schmieding, Ronald Gardner, Robert Eidson, Bill Harper, O. M. Kimbrough, John Rife, Jim Ritter, Don Tyson, and John Tyson. Lee White was the executive director. Gov. Orval Faubus, seated behind Hinshaw, gave the keynote address. Members of the Springdale High School band provided musical entertainment.
