7.         An Ordinance annexing certain property into the City of Springdale, Benton County, Arkansas, property located east of N. 40th Street and south of Wagon Wheel Road, presented by Wendell & Renee Collins, owners. 

 

8.         A Resolution authorizing the hiring of an employee in the District Court, presented by Wyman Morgan, Director of Administration.

 

9.         A Resolution to promote immediate action for a traffic interchange at I-540 and the Southern Corridor, presented by Councilman Rick Evans.

 

10.       Street Bond Committee Report & Recommendations by Chairman Jeff Watson:

 

A.  A Resolution authorizing right-of-way acquisition on Northern Corridor Wagon Wheel Road Phase II, I-540 to Robins Road BP-0302, located at 2122 Wagon Wheel Road in the 2003 Street Improvement Bond Program.

 

B. 

      A Resolution authorizing right-of-way acquisition on Northern Corridor Wagon Wheel Road Phase II, I-540 to Robins Road BP-0302, located at the southwest corner of Twin Oaks Drive and Wagon Wheel Road in the 2003 Street Improvement Bond Program.

      A Resolution authorizing the City Attorney to begin condemnation proceedings on the property located at the southwest corner of Twin Oaks Drive and Wagon Wheel Road on the Northern Corridor Wagon Wheel Phase II, I-540 to Robins Road BP-0302 in the 2003 Street Improvement Bond Program.

 

C.  A Resolution authorizing the City Attorney to begin condemnation proceedings on the property located at 3323 Wagon Wheel Road on the Northern Corridor Wagon Wheel Phase II, I-540 to Robins Road BP-0302 in the 2003 Street Improvement Bond Program.

 

D.

      A Resolution authorizing right-of-way acquisition on Northern Corridor Wagon Wheel Road Phase II, I-540 to Robins Road BP-0302, located at 2059 Wagon Wheel Road in the 2003 Street Improvement Bond Program

11.       Planning Commission Recommendations by Planning Director Patsy Christie:

 

A.     WAIVER:

         A Resolution approving a waiver of street improvements, drainage, curbs, gutters and sidewalks as set forth in Ordinance No. 3725 to Arkansas Highway 264 in Connection with a large scale development for Advance Info Management.

 

B.  An Ordinance rezoning 10.76 acres + owned by Dustin and Veronica Graham located west of Janice Lane from Residential Estate District (R-E) to Low Density Single Family Residential District (SF-1) and declaring an emergency.

 

C.  An Ordinance accepting the Re-Plat of Lot 14, Unit 2 of the Elm Springs Heights Addition to the City of Springdale, Arkansas, and declaring an emergency.

 

D.  An Ordinance rezoning 4.44 acres + owned by Mercy and Grace Cathedral located west of I-540 and south of Apple Road from General Commercial District (C-2) to Institutional District (P-1) and declaring an emergency.

 

E.  An Ordinance rezoning 9.77 + owned by Jo Belle Preece and Jean Ann Pinkston, Co-Trustees of the Virginia Washburn Revocable Trust u/t/d/November 3, 1994 located  east of I-540, south of McRay Avenue and west of S. 40th Street from Agricultural District (A-1) to General Commercial District (C-1) and Open Display District (C-5) and declaring an emergency.

 

12.       A Resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a contract with Garver Engineers, LLC for professional engineering services for the Johnson Road/Main Street Improvement Project, presented by Mayor Van Hoose.

 

13.       A Presentation regarding Construction Dynamics workload for 2008, presented by Mayor Van Hoose.
