6. OLD BUSINESS

A. 3rd Reading - December 9th, 2003

An Ordinance calling an election in the City of Springdale, Arkansas, to refer to the people the question of whether or not to allow the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption on Sunday in qualified hotels and restaurants in the City of Springdale, Arkansas, as authorized by law.

7. A Street & CIP Committee Report & Recommendations by Chairman Rick Evans:

A Resolution authorizing the Springdale Public Works Department to participate in construction of a walking trail at the Jones Center for Families.

8. A Resolution declaring December 26th, 2003 as an additional holiday. Presented by Mayor Jerre M. Van Hoose.

9. A Finance Committee Report and Recommendations by Chairman Jeff Watson:

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a brokerage agreement with Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. establishing and maintaining security cash accounts.

10. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement accepting the donation of land to the City of Springdale, Arkansas. Presented by City Attorney Jeff C. Harper.

11. An Ordinance annexing certain property into the City of Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas. Presented by City Attorney Jeff C. Harper.

12. An Ordinance annexing certain property into the City of Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas. Presented by Bob Estes, Attorney for petitioners.
