Streets and Public Facilities Department
The City of Springdale Public Works Department provides maintenance for City streets, rights-of-way, drainage systems, traffic signals, street markings and sign installation for City streets. We also maintain landscaping of City property and we have our own crew for City vehicle maintenance. We currently maintain approximately 360 miles of street within the City of Springdale.
The State of Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) is responsible for all maintenance of state highways and interstates. There are six state highways and one interstate that run through or border the City of Springdale. Highway 412 East and West, Highway 265, Highway 264, Highway 112 and Highway 71B are maintained by the state. Interstate 540 and all interchanges are maintained by the state, as well.
