Steve Harp – Steve Harp was born in Springdale and graduated from Springdale High School. In late 1974, Steve went to work for the Springdale Police Department as a dispatcher, and became a patrol officer in March, 1976. In May 1981, he left the Police Department to work for Shelter Insurance Companies as an insurance agent where he continues to be employed. Steve was appointed to the Civil Service Commission in 1986 and has served as Chairman of the Commission for the majority of his five terms. He is married to Beverly Harp and they have three children and four grandchildren.
Dave Chapman – Dave Chapman was born in Springdale and graduated from Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is also a 1968 graduate of the University of Arkansas. Dave has been a commercial building contractor and developer for 30 years. Dave's grandfather was a Springdale fireman in the 1950's and because of the respect brought about by his grandfather, Dave interviewed for a position on the Civil Service Commission and was appointed in 2007. He also has cousins and nephews who presently serve as police officers in Little Rock and Fort Smith.
Charles Farmer – Charles Farmer was born in Springdale and graduated from Shiloh Christian High School. He is the owner of Sisco Funeral Home and has served as Washington County Coroner. Charles has served on the Civil Service Commission since 2006 and presently serves as Secretary.
Debra R. Broyles – Debra Broyles is a native of Little Rock and has made Springdale her home for the last fifteen years. After graduating from the University of Arkansas; Debra began a career in employment counseling. She has been the manager of The Office Assistant for the last fifteen years while also participating in local charitable efforts. She is presently on the Board of Directors for Single Parent Scholarship, Alzheimer's, the Race for the Cure and the North Arkansas Symphony. Debra was appointed to the Civil Service Commission in 2008. Debra is married to Dan Broyles and has two daughters, Madison and Allyson. Debra and Dan are very proud that both daughters are graduates of Springdale High School.
Danny Dotson – Danny Dotson has made Springdale his home for 31 years. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and is employed by Legacy National Bank. Danny interviewed for a position on the Civil Service Commission for the opportunity to learn more about Springdale, while contributing to the city that has been home for him and his family for more than 30 years. He was appointed to the Commission in 2005. Danny is married and has two daughters.
