Requirements for Plan Review
The following apply to new construction, additions or alteration to ALL occupancy buildings OTHER THAN R3 (one &two family dwellings).
General
Two copies of drawings shall be required at time of submittal.
One copy of any specifications shall be required at time of submittal
All sheets of a plan set shall be sealed and signed by an Arkansas registered architect or engineer in all cases.
Drawing and specifications shall contain information, in the form of notes or otherwise, as to the quality and type of materials, where this information is essential to show the conformity to the technical codes. This information shall bear the name and signature of the person responsible for the design. Additional information or date to accurately describe the proposed construction may be required.
Once the plan review is completed a report will be sent to the project designer. A written response, item-by-item, will be required along with any additional information and or drawings requested. These items must be received by the building department before any permit will be issued.

ANSI 117. 1998 (handicap accessibility standards)
Project must comply with other applicable state and local ordinances.
Drawings
- Site Plan includes as a minimum:
- Property lines, pins and dimensions
- Right-of way, easements and setbacks
- Name and locations of streets

b. Moving fee. For the moving of any building or structure, the fee shall be $100.00.
c. Demolition fee. For the demolition of any building or structure, the fee shall be:
