Spay Day USA Celebration planned for Saturday, February 27th
Washington County is sponsoring a multi-agency event on Saturday, February 27th, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, at the Washington County Sheriff's Annex (1155 Clydesdale Dr, Fayetteville)
This nationally recognized event promotes responsible pet ownership and care through vaccination, spaying and neutering. The event will offer free microchipping of the first 100 animals, low cost pet vaccinations, and an opportunity for qualifying residents to receive spay/neuter vouchers.
Springdale Animal Services and Animal Control will be present with other area shelters and rescues with adoptable animals (weather permitting), and information on specific services and programs. Local groups will present obedience and agility demonstrations, in addition to those put on by by area Law Enforcement, Fire, Animal Control and Therapy Animal trainers.
Bring your pets (dogs leashed/cats in crates) and family for an informative and fun-filled afternoon. Food and refreshments will be available.

Parade float wins Holiday Float-1st Place!
Special thanks to all who helped with our first entry into the 13th Annual Springdale Christmas Parade. Your efforts paid off! Springdale Animal Services was awarded first place for the Holiday Float category, and a $150 cash prize. Our trophy will be proudly displayed at the shelter, and the prize money is a timely gift that will allow us to continue to offer a high level of care to the animals we shelter. Merry Christmas and thank you Springdale! |
We need your help! DOG and CAT FOOD NEEDED
Springdale Animal Shelter depends on donations to help feed and care for our community's homeless pets. Clay kitty litter, dry and canned cat food, and dog and puppy food are always needed. We are happy to provide you with a receipt for these donations, as they are tax deductable. Thanks to all our citizens and volunteers for your support and generous contributions.
